So it's early January and the weather is fine. Robin egg blue skies, crystal clear water, white sand beaches and it was a great day for a walk.

I walked down the beach at Playa Amarillo and around the rocks at Playa Iguana. I found Tony Roberts sitting in the lee of he well traveled Toyota stake-bed shooting photos of his friends he brought up from Costa Rica

They are staying in my original surfshack on the rio dulce. Groovin on the off the grid peace and quite and digging a great surfspot just down the path.

This is Brad Hersch who lives in Costa Rica and owns a fine food deli. He's one of Tony's best friends and we see him a lot. We'd see more of him if he wasn't so involved in business in Costa Rica
