WEEK of September 23, 2010

September 23, 2010 -
Last week the waves were gnarly epic crazy retarded HUGE, as quoted by our surf guide Steve. The guys sat out in front of the lodge at sunset... they witnessed a miraculous five wave set rolling in, breaking first at Hongo's reef, here in our mellow "un-surfable"bay. The smallest wave was fifteen foot, cruising in toward the coast and sucking out the sand... you could feel it on the beach. People from Popoyo and Santana were driving here, to our little village, to surf the bay. Unbelievable.

The waves as of today are a lot smaller, slightly onshore, no death-bombs, but really fun.
