WEEK of October 10, 2010

October 10, 2010 -
That's right, it's 10-10-10 and we are back and all refreshed after some much deserved vacation time. See, the earth is changing, and the seasons are playing tricks on us and our winter came earlier and more prevalent this year. A normal rainy season hits October first and dribbles rain all day, every day until November first.
This year, we tried to take off the month of October and get out of dodge, but several savvy surfers decided to book us up. It forced us to all get away in September which proved to be a hurricane, flood, mud bogged, lose your truck in the river kind of month. A true veteran of the crappy rainy season here in Nica, I was one of the fortune ones to get out and get back just in time for a gorgeous October. So this newsletter is dedicated to taking a break, getting away and getting re-acquainted with yourself and re-inspired. I dare you to join us on that journey...

Even Dale got out... for the first time in six years. Congrats on still kicking ass and surfing "two-a days" at a ripe age of 60. Apparently Nica life is pretty vital for sustaining the fountain of youth.
